Many of the following photographs have appeared in numerous television broadcasts and media publications worldwide. Regardless of faith background, the undeniably clear, heavenly formations warrant attention.   They have inspired countless conversions and healings among believers and non-believers alike. To some, they are uniquely curious. To many others, they are a powerful testimony to the REALITY of God's presence in the world, as manifested at the unique Bosnian hamlet of Medjugorje.

Actual unretouched photograph taken on Easter Sunday, 1988 in Medjugorje, Bosnia (former Yugoslavia), site of miracles and alleged apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary to six shepherd children since 1981. The photographer had prayed for a "sign" to confirm the divine validity of the many supernatural occurrences there. This photo was taken over Mt. Krizevac (Cross Mountain). Note the distinct image of Christ with His staff. More detailed observation clearly shows the Father, the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove, a lost sheep and many other startling likenesses. Many people, some pictured here, witnessed with astonishment this remarkable cloud formation which hovered motionless about 20 feet off the ground for approximately 10 minutes. It then dissipated into a pierced heart, surrounded by thorns (to be posted shortly). Note that the cross and heart are traditionally signs of God's mercy.
